A Clean & Safe Practice

We go above and beyond the ADA and OSHA recommended standards to make our Tucson dental office a clean and safe place for your family. Before your visit, we disinfect all of our equipment in a designated area with state-of-the-art sterilization technology. We also thoroughly sanitize each room between patients. We worry about the cleanliness of our office so you’ll never have to.

Meet our Team

Technology

Providing outstanding dental care requires knowledge, skill, and experience. But advances in dentistry are happening all the time, so Dr. Michael Allen and our team also make it a point to stay current with any type of new technology that will make your treatment easier and more efficient. We’re constantly updating our equipment, but at this time, we’re pleased to offer the following state-of-the-art technologies:

Intraoral Cameras

This high-resolution camera is a valuable addition to the technology we offer at Sabino Hills Family Dentistry. Using an intraoral camera, we can show you exactly what we see as we examine your teeth. The visual display helps you understand the nature of the problem and why treatment is necessary. Intraoral cameras give our team a clear view of your teeth, which makes treatment more efficient, meaning you spend less time in the dental chair.

Isolite

We’re pleased to offer you the comfort provided by using the Isolite system. Isolite is a very small system that illuminates the inside of your mouth during your procedure. It gives you a comfortable soft block to bite down on, preventing soreness and muscle fatigue. Also, since the light helps us see your teeth clearly, we can complete your treatment more efficiently, meaning you spend less time in the dental chair.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays are a type of dental imaging that allows us to store and send images directly to a computer. We can view the digitally perfect images and share them with you on a monitor so you can see exactly what we see.

Digital x-rays also offer several other benefits not available with traditional film x-rays. The software helps us see even the smallest changes, which wouldn't be seen during a visual oral exam.

Since digital x-rays reduce your radiation exposure, you can feel at ease knowing that you're completely safe. State-of-the-art digital images are also better for the environment since we don’t have to worry about safely disposing of potentially hazardous materials used with traditional film x-rays. Digital images can also be sent electronically to a specialist or a new dentist if you move.
